Join us for an author event with Kristen Harmel presented by the Albert Carlton Cashiers Library 3 p.m. Friday, September 3 at the Commons Hall. She is the author of The Book of Lost Names returning with an evocative coming-of-age World War II story, The Forest of Vanishing Stars is her recent novel about a young woman who uses her knowledge of the wilderness to help Jewish refugees escape the Nazis—until a secret from her past threatens everything. She will share this newest release during this event.
