It wouldn?t be summer in Highlands without the Highlands Village Square Art & Craft Shows. Now in their 14th year, they are well known for regionally-made fine art, crafts and rustic furniture. High standards mean shoppers will find amazing creations to enhance their homes and lives, or to share as gifts.
The show features only local and regional artisans. It is sponsored by Rotary of Highlands Mountaintop, and proceeds go to their many important charitable causes, such as the Emergency Council in Highlands and efforts to eradicate polio around the world.
The show is held in Kelsey-Hutchinson “Founders” Park at Pine and N. 5th Streets in downtown Highlands, NC. This beautifully designed and landscaped park has public restrooms plus a new pavilion for live music.
The kids will have a blast playing in the interactive water fountain. Grab some really good food at Fresser’s Eatery in the Village Square next door. Rotary Club will be selling taco lunches and drinks to enjoy at one of the shady picnic tables in the park.
